The holiday season begins on Amazon! The online retail giant launched its annual ‘Toys We Love List’ on September 12. This list features over 100 toys, to suit a variety of ages, budgets, and interests.

About Amazon’s ‘Toys We Love’ List
Amazon’s toy team spent the year refining and researching to develop this 2022 list. Within the selection, you’ll find over 60 Amazon-exclusive toys and over 100 new-to-market toys. Prices start at under $10, with many items on the list falling below the $50 mark.

What’s on Amazon’s ‘Toys We Love’ List
Amazon’s listing features toys and games from several notable brands, including Crayola, Disney, Fisher-Price, LEGO, and National Geographic. There are also a number of smaller companies that make the list, including Magna-Tiles and TeeTurtle.
In terms of categories, you’ll find everything from construction sets and dolls to scooters and STEM kits.
Anne Carrihill, director of toys and games at Amazon, shared in a press release that including educational toys and toys from smaller brands was a conscious choice made by the Amazon toys team. “In 2022, we’re seeing excitement for new toys and games from small business brands, as well as learning toys that allow kids to learn through games or craft projects,” he says.
Characters you and your kids know and love from popular TV, movie, and comic book franchises are also on the list. Carrihill added that “Marvel, Pokémon, and Star Wars action characters are as popular as ever [this year], with kids and collectors alike.”
While Amazon’s listing isn’t as carefully curated as Target’s, for example, it does give you a wide range of options.
